Greetings from Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs
As you are aware celebrating World Environmental Day is about the inspirational power of individual actions that collectively become an exponential force for positive change.
We welcome all YMCAs in APAY to join hands together in observing this year’s World Environmental day on 5th June 2011 as YMCA Green Day.
1. YMCAs may choose any actions that are relevant in their context. Some examples as proposed by green team are attached.
2. The YMCAs that are requested to send an e-mail to APAY Secretariat for receiving invite for uploading their programs on the blog http://ymcagreenday2011.wordpress.com/
By celebrating June 5 as YMCA Green Day we remind ourselves and others on the importance of caring for our environment.
Every actions count however small or big and lets join together to make a difference ~ Everywhere, Everyone!!!

sir regarding the world environment day on 5th of June 2011 we’ together with’ a ngo here in biratnagar Nepal is also attempting a youth awareness marathoner on that vary day to make the youth educated about the importance of environment and conservation of environment as a important part of our life.so if your organization has any suggestions please give us your precious suggestions so that we can conduct the program effectively.

I am sure many young people with join with you enthusiastically .
